Alexandria (Alex) Baker, MSN, PMHNP, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of combined experience in psychiatry. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Ohio University in 2014, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wheeling University in 2016, and her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in psychiatric mental health from Ohio University in 2023.

Alex utilizes evidence-based practice guidelines to provide both pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment interventions, with a personalized approach tailored to each individual’s unique needs. She has clinical experience across several disciplines of psychiatry, including case management and inpatient psychiatric care, which enriches her ability to provide comprehensive and compassionate mental health support. She is passionate about delivering holistic, patient-centered care grounded in empathy, trust, and clinical integrity.

She specializes in the treatment of a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, personality disorders, and psychotic disorders. Her therapeutic philosophy is rooted in the belief that every patient deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported throughout their mental health journey. She strives to create a safe and collaborative space that fosters healing and resilience.

Outside of her professional work, Alex enjoys spending time with her family, reading, attending concerts, playing tennis, skiing, and traveling.
